Event Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: September 1, 2019

Due to the nature of the events that are offered by The Journey! Leather Conference ("TJLC"), we reserve the right to refuse/cancel any registration made by any person for any reason. If TJLC refuses and cancels a registration, a refund of the affected registrants’s payment, minus a 15% cancellation fee, will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the registration.

Cancellation of TJLC2020 Event by TJLC

TJLC reserves the right to cancel the TJLC2020 Event due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or any other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If the TJLC2020 Event is canceled, registrants will be offered a full refund.

1. Should circumstances arise that results in a change of the TJLC2020 Event's location, the following will apply:

  • If the airport that is closest to the original event venue is within 30 miles of the location of the new event venue, registrants will be provided with information about the new event venue's location.
    No refunds or credit will be provided to registrants who chooses cancel their registration due to this change of location

  • If the airport that is closest to the original event venue is not within 30 miles of the location of the new event venue, registrants will be provided with information about the new event venue's location and will have the option to transfer their registration to new event venue, or receive a credit for a future event.
    No refunds will be provided to registrants who chooses cancel their registration due to this change of location

2. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of the TJLC2020 Event, registrants will be provided with information about the event's new date and will have the option to transfer their registration to the new, future date, or receive a credit for a future TJLC event. No refunds will be provided to registrants who chooses cancel their registration due to this date change

3. In the case of inclement weather, TJLC shall comply with the host hotel's inclement weather protocols. If the host hotel advises TJLC that the TJLC2020 Event must be cancelled due to the inclement weather, TJLC will cancel the TJLC2020 Event and use it's best efforts to:

  • relocate the TJLC2020 Event to a safer venue
  • postpone the TJLC2020 Event to a later date at the same location

TJLC will post its decision on the TJLC website, the TJLC FB Page, the TJLC Twitter Feed, and on the TJLC Instagram Page.

Cancellation of TJLC2020 Registration by Registrants

Any registrant may choose to cancel their registration at any time, for any reason by logging into the Registrant Account Center, with their email address and password. Cancellation requests must be received by the below stated deadlines in order to be eligible for a refund. All refunds will be issued as a credit to the same method of payment that was used to purchase the registration.

Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.

These Cancellation & Refund policies apply to all TJLC events and will be incorporated into the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.

±Refunds will be issued no sooner than 30 days following the event's closing date.
